WW2 Black Out Poetry

November11

Today we have been looking at some poetry written about the world wars. We then created our own poetry in the style of black out poetry. We identified key words from the text, joined them to others to create our own stanzas and blacked out the rest of the words from the original poems.

These aren’t quite finished but we think we’re doing a pretty good job so far.

What do you think?

I think that this subject was very intresting and would like to do it again because I think I could make mine a lot better and with more punctuation and a lot more higher standard words

I agree with you Tillie and I thought everyone’s were amazing and very creative. Everyone had so much imagination on how to black it out and to make the background the style of what their poem was about! Well done everyone, I hope you all had fun! I was happy with my end product too Tillie and that is the main thing.
